Court Protects Sanusi against Jonathan’s Agents
LAGOS FEBRUARY 21ST (URHOBOTODAY)-The secret moves by the Presidency to dehumanize the suspended Governor of CBN, Sanusi Lamido has been frustrated by a Federal High Court sitting in Ikoyi, Lagos, as it granted an order restraining all agents of the Federal government, including the Attorney-General of the Federation (AGF), Inspector General of Police and the State Security Service (SSS); from arresting and detaining Mallam Sanusi or subjecting him to any form of degrading treatment.
Justice Buba Ibrahim granted the order, following the fundamental human rights suit by Sanusi in which he had complained of his unlawful arrest, detention, and seizure of his passport on Thursday.
Credible sources say the next plan of the Presidency is to lock Sanusi up and disgrace him openly for daring to go all out and start exposing things that former CBN governors were afraid to expose.
To prevent the wicked plot, Justice Buba granted Sanusi’s plea pending determination of the substantive suit.
Sanusi is represented in the case by the former Attorney-general of Lagos State, Professor Yemi Osinbajo and Kola Awodein, both of them Senior Advocate of Nigeria.
The case continues on 28th February, 2014, as Justice Buba warned government agents not to touch Sanusi.
