Lagos july 1st (URHOBOTODAY)-Following the allegations on Senator Ifeanyi Okowa sending thugs to shoot a hotelier, Sunny Okonye in Boji-Boji-Agbor, Ika South Local government area of Delta State; the truth has finally emerged as Sunny has come out openly to confess that it was all a frame up to blackmail and dwindle the rising political profile of the Ika born political maestro.
This startling confession was made on Sunday when he told press men that he was alleged coerced by a Local Government Caretaker Committee Boss (Name With held) to cook up the story hence he was promised financial favour, empowerment and other inducement should he accede to lie against Okowa.
Sunny who was shot by suspected members of some cult group over an alleged burning down of Senator Okowa campaign billboard at the College of Education, Agbor noted that the council boss told him to implicate the Senator by falsifying his oral and written statement in the police station which he did.
Following the stage managed look alike shooting of Sunny, he revealed that the council top shot has been responsible for his medical bills up to date.
He affirmed that as at the time of the shooting, none of Okowa’s aide, least of all, Hilary was present during the act.
