Okowa,Tafida, Omene, Others to Attend Urhobo Progress Union, UK Convention

LAGOS AUGUST 26rd (URHOBOTODAY)-The Governor of Delta State, Dr Ifeanyi Okowa, President of Urhobo Progress Union (World Wide) Chief Joe Omene and Dr. Dalhatu Sarki Tafida, Nigerian High Commissioner, United Kingdom are expected to attend the Urhobo Progress Union (UPU), United Kingdom Chapter, 8th Annual International and Two Million Pounds Fund Raising Convention.
A press statement made available to Urhobotoday, an online medium, jointly signed by Chief Emmanuel Okpako Ganiga, National President of UPU in United Kingdom, Evang. Isaac Uwhokori, National Vice President of UPU in United Kingdom and Chairman of the Convention Committee, Mr. Humphrey Okagbare, National Secretary of UPU in United Kingdom, Ms. Janet Eruvbetere Lady, Vice President of UPU in United Kingdom and Theodore Ochuko Arayki, National Publicity Secretary of UPU in United Kingdom stated that the Chief Launcher of the event is Chief William Oki, Chairman and Managing Director of Woksons International Limited, while the guest speakers are Prof. G.G Darah of Delta State University, Abraka, Delta State and Delegate, National Conference, 2014, Chief Albert Akpomudje (SAN), National Secretary, UPU World-wide and Dr. Onome Ogueh, Consultant Obstrician and Gynecologists, Brighton and Sussex University Hospital, United Kingdom.
The statement maintained that the Father of the Day is Chief Phillip Abu Wanogho JP, adding that
Chief (Mrs.) Julie Egoh is the Mother of the Day The event is divided into day one and day two. According to the statement, the day one event which is a traditional dinner party would hold on Friday August 28th, 2015 by 6:30 pm at Gans Banquette Penarth Centre, London SE151TR.
“Day two event will include a symposium, convention and fund raising night. It will take place on Saturday, August 29th, 2015 by 3pm prompt. The venue is London Docklands Hilton Hotel, 265 Rotherhite St, SE16 5HW. Admission is 50 pounds per Guest. Limited spaces are available,” the statement disclosed.
