Group Hails Omo-Agege Able Representation in the Senate, Ogboru Leadership Qualities

LAGOS AUGUST 2ND (URHOBOTODAY)-A social-political group in Delta State, Delta Coalition for Change (DCC), Udu local government Area chapter has commended the effort of the Senator representing Delta Central Senatorial District, in the National Assembly, Senator (Obaisi) Ovie Omo-Agege to attract dividend of democracy to the Urhobos.
In a press statement made available to Urhobotoday signed by the Chairman and Secretary of the Group, Hon. David Chobore and Mr. Oduma Alfred, respectively,the group commended the distinguished Senator for the various Bills he had sponsored in the Red Chambers, especially the bill that gave legal foundation to the federal university of petroleum resources, Effurun, FUPRE, Delta State.
The statement reads: “We are encouraged by the various Bills you (Senator Omo-Agege) have sponsored in the Senate so far, and your commitment to ensure the unity and development of the Urhobo nation cannot be overlooked”.
The group called on Senator Omo-Agege to attract more dividends of democracy and respect to Urhobo land generally.
In a another development, group under the aegis of Delta Coalition for Change, DCC
has extended their spirit of comradeship to Chief Great Ovedje Ogboru for being steadfast and committed in his attempt to liberate Delta State from the People’s Democratic Party, PDP led government in the State.
The group recalled that Ogboru’s recent mass movement of his teeming supporters under the umbrella of Light of Labour from the Labour Party, LP, into the All Progressive Congress, APC is a welcome development to deliver Deltans from the hood of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, government in the State.
In a similar development the group equally commended the Member Representing Udu Constituency of the Delta State House of Assembly, DTHA, Hon. Peter Okagbare Uviejitobor for the effective representation he has shown since his emergence.
The group urged him to use use opportunities to justify his present in Delta State House Assembly and attract more prospects to his constituency.
