Delta: Eku, Abraka Erupt as Urhobo Youths Invade Market for Jonathan, Okowa

LAGOS MARCH 16TH (URHOBOTODAY)-The indigenes of Urhobo communities in Eku and Abraka were greatly elated when youths under the aegis of Urhobo Youth Leaders Association (UYLA) stormed their markets in commando style to sensitise them on the need to vote for the re-election of President Goodluck Jonathan, Ifeanyi Okowa and other Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidates in Delta State.
The event organised to sensitize the Urhobo on the need to vote for President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, Senator Ifeanyi Arthur Okowa and other PDP aspirants in the forthcoming elections in Delta central and south senatorial districts of the state attracted high profile dignitaries from across the districts.
Among them were Chief Ighoyota Amori aka Odidimadi, Delta Central PDP Senatorial Candidate, Hon. (Barr.) Lovette Ederin Idisi aka Fineboy, House of Representatives Candidate, Hon. Arthur Akpowowo, Delta State House of Assembly Candidate, Judith Enamuotor, PDP BOT member.
While expressing satisfaction over turn-out of the traders at the rallies, the secretary of UYLA and LOC Chairman, Comrade Oyibode Vincent stated the essence of the market to market sensitization in clear terms. He affirmed that Urhobo is the fifth largest ethnic nationality in Nigeria made up of 24 kingdoms, stressing that owing to their population and ideological vision, any candidate supported by Urhobo will definitely win the election.
He said the leadership of PDP in the nation has been very instrumental to the development of the nation, just as highlighted some of the achievements of President Goodluck Jonathan in Delta state and asked that he be supported for second term.
The traders which pledged their support and promised to mobilize and vote for all PDP aspirants in the elections, however requested for the provision of soft loans, giving their markets a facelift and provision of toilet facilities in the market and among other.
Good people they say bring happiness ,no wonder sentiment could not mask the poeple’s emotional flight , what less were the people of Eku, Abraka and the entire Delta state expecting from the duo of Drs Okowa and Jonathan , na we own bros ,down to earth politician ,sincere and humane men full of intellectual capability, gentle leaders who flaunt their political style with perseverance , sagacity and acumen ,men whose political distinction knew no bound ,we cant but continue to clamor for the best for the good people of Delta state… Thanks

How many federal government appointment did Urhobo get for the almost 6 years of GEJ’s rule despite contributing over 800,000 votes? All federal govt positions appointed from Delta were cornered by Delta North. They control great influence in the financial sector of Nigeria, how many do Urhobo control? PDP in delta is now under the firm control of Delta North and the state capital is experiencing great development while Urhoboland lies in squalor and ruin. You mention one major federal govt or state project that has been commissioned in Urhoboland for the last 8 years now you want to hand power to Delta North in the hope that Okowa will remember you, dammnnn foooolish of you and your kind. No one is against Delta North coming in as Governor but the mare fact that they are greedy and selfish for power make me think that those campaigning for Okowa are fools. Why? they are under the conspiracy of Chief James Ibori & Co
