Delta 2015: Ayiri, Egbuya, Declare Tony Obuh as Uduaghan’s Governorship Candidate

LAGOS AUGUST 19TH (URHOBOTODAY)-Itsekiri Leader, Chief Emami Ayiri and Majority Leader, Delta State House of Assembly, Hon Monday Egbuya have declared that new entrance into Delta State Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship race, Mr Tony Obuh is the choice of Delta State Governor Dr Emmanuel Uduaghan as his successor in 2015.
Speaking while making the declaration in a meeting hosted at the residence of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Uvwie Local Government Chairmanship candidate, Mr Henry Baro on Sunday, Emami Ayiri informed members of Delta United for Tony Obuh, a group fronting for Obuh governorship aspiration that he is been directed by the governor to inform them that Obuh is his governorship candidate for 2015.
“I am speaking with authority. It is Uduaghan that sent me. He asked me to deliver the message that it is Tony Obuh,” Ayiri popularly known as Okulagba affirmed as the audience applauded.
Ayiri who said he can categorically deliver the message because he knew where he was coming from maintained, “We are on the march again. This time we are moving with Tony Obuh to government house. We have done it before. This time we will do it it again.”
Ayiri who said he is a messenger from Oghara enjoined members of Delta United for Tony Obuh to preach the gospel of Obuh as the next governor of Delta State.
“I am just a messenger from Oghara. Go and preach the gospel according to our Bishop. Tell your friends that the train is moving from Uvwie to Asaba on Wednesday at Hon Monday Egbuya’s residence where we are expected to present Tony Obuh as the next governor,” he disclosed.
Speaking earlier, Eguya informed the house that the main agenda of their coming together is to back and publicize their main candidate Tony Obuh for the PDP governorship slot of Delta State.
“Although, he is coming out late, it is not how far but how well. The biggest masquerade comes out late. Go and publicize him. Take it as a point of duty that he is already your preferred governorship candidate. In a short while, our principal will visit all the local government on consultation,” Egbuya disclosed, adding that he would be hosting the group in his residence at Asaba to create awareness on the arrival of Obuh.
Those present were Olorogun Jaro Egbo, Hon Efeburuku, Hon Chris Onokpa, Hon Obudu, Onochie Okonkwo, Shedrack Okemiri, Hon Edewor Omonema, Dr Efe Chukwudi and Hon Raymond Edijala among others.
