LAGOS DECEMBER 19TH (URHOBOTODAY)-There is heavy celebration in all the local government areas made up of Delta Central Senatorial district of Delta State made up of Urhobo indigenes as report reaching Urhobotoday an online medium affirmed that the Court of Appeal on Saturday declared Mr. Ovie Omo-Agege, a former Secretary to the Government of Delta State and candidate of the Labour Party, winner of the March 28, 2015 Delta Central Senatorial election.

Urhobotoday gathered from a report in THEWILL that the court annulled the victory of Mr. Ighoyota Amori of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) as declared by INEC and upheld by the elections petition tribunal.
This report was equally confirmed from a publication monitored in SaharaReporters. The online medium affirmed that the Court of Appeal sacked Senator Ighoyota Amori, popularly known as the “Cruise Boat Senator” after hosting a spectacular birthday party for himself in the United States on a luxury cruise boat. Mr. Amori’s guests donned only their finest white clothing during the festivities.
According to Sagarareporters, “Mr. Amori previously represented the Delta Central district in Delta State under the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). However, the Court has now ordered that Obaisi Ovie Omo-Agege of the Labour Party (LP) be sworn in after a long election petition tribunal leading to the Appeal Court decision.”
It will be recalled that Mr. Amori was interviewed by SaharaTV in August where he defended the integrity of former Delta State Governor James Ibori, who has been incarcerated in the United Kingdom for financial crimes and laundering money from his obscene looting as Governor. Mr. Amori told SaharaTV that “I visit James Ibori once every month. But I am not the only one who visits James Ibori. There is an avalanche of people—ministers, governors, Nigerian ambassadors—visiting James Ibori in prison. That should tell you about the person of James Ibori.”
When Urhobotoday called both Obaisi Ovie Omo-Agege and Chief Ighoyota Amori for confirmation of the report both telephone lines were switched off.
Meanwhile Urhobotoday correspondent who visited Orogun Community the home and strong hold of Chief Ovie Omo Agege revealed that that there is heavy celebration and partying in the community hours before this publication.
