Atamu Social Club Honours Guardian Editor, Ogbodo and Other Outstanding Urhobo Sons

LAGOS NOVEMBER 3RD (URHOBOTODAY)-In recognition of their individual achievements in their various fields and contributions to the entire Urhobo Nation, the Atamu Social Club of Nigeria recently honoured some of its deserving members, including the Executive Editor of The Guardian Abraham Ogbodo. Held at the Oriental Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos.
Other distinguished sons of Urhobo, who were celebrated at the event include Andrew Agbaga, David Akoro, Stephen Ighomuaye and Teddy Okumakube.
Speaking at the Dinner/Award Night, which turned out to be a celebration of rich Urhobo culture and tradition, president of the club Johnson Agagbo informed that the event is in line with the vision statement of Atamu Social Club to be the leading socio cultural organisation championing the unity and sustainable development of the Urhobo Nation.
“We decided to organise this dinner in honour of five of our members, who through hardwork, diligence and professionalism, have attained success in their chosen careers. The award diner recognizes captains of industries, professionals, journalists, business icons administrators and entrepreneurs,” he said.
