LAGOS JULY 21ST (URHOBOTODAY(0Top gunner for the 2015 gubernatorial race, Elder Godsday Orubebe is currently battling to save his head from bad media publicity, as his media campaign arms meant to protect him is currently in crisis.
We gathered that Chief Alex Ikpeazu who once held sway as Orubebe media director has thrown in the towel following some alleged financial mismanagement.

“In his resignation letter, he noted that he was leaving “to maintain peaceful co-existence in our state now and beyond 2015. It makes sense to approach this sensitive issue not on the basis of zoning, but on the altar of equity, good conscience and the fellow’s integrity. I hereby resign my position as the Director of Media and Publicity of Delta Peoples Forum (DPF).”
Sources, however revealed that the sum of N15 Million naira was released by Orubebe to Ikpeazu for gadgets such as Ipads and other smart phones as well as for 6 months subscription for his online media foot soldiers but the money was reported to have been single single handedly cornered by him. The fear of being exposed we gathered made him to resign.
Another of the former Niger Delta Affairs Minister Facebook supporter, Jones Uboh who is related to Ikpeazu also resigned his voluntary membership of the group. Efforts made to reach him proved unsuccessful as he didn’t reply to messages sent to him.
Before now, Orubebe online media mouth piece, Barr. Mary Oyibocha-Agbajoh had resigned as media person of Orubebe owing to reasons our source described as insubordination.
