The official  launch of  Tompolo Foundation tomorrow (Thursday) is expected to attract  official delegates from the Presidency and NIMASA.

Executive Secretary  Tompolo Foundation,  Comrade Paul Bebenimibo who revealed the information to our correspondenr said the Foundation which had made donations of education materials to schools and relief materials to internally displaced persons in Delta State would be officially launched on Thursday at the Hotel Excel in Effurun, WArri, Delta State.

He revealed that the Foundation has donated education materials to Schools in Warri-South West as a pilot project, adding that after the launch they would embark on the provision of uniforms to school children. He added that bags, sandal, stocks, text books, note books, recreational materials and writing materials among others would also be provided to school school children.

Bebenimibo stated that the launching will signal the official commencement of a long list of activities aimed at meeting the educational needs of pupils and students in Delta State as well as motivational packages for teachers.

“Tompolo want to ensure that the public schools in the area compete with the private schools, he wants to ensure that the students are comfortable in schools, he knows that with education, the sky is the limit for anyone.

“He wants a solid start for the pupils and students, he believe in empowerment of the teachers so that they will be motivated to work, he wants to take the burden off the shoulders of parents.” Bebenimibo added.
