Auchi Poly Students Panic, as Robbers Besiege Auchi’s Banks …Delta state banks next point of attack

The latest information reaching us is that the Students of the Auchi Polytechnic (AUCHIPOLY), are in fear, after armed bandits took over Auchi town in Edo State recently robbing banks,after using bombs and dynamites to blow up the banks.
It was gathered that soldiers attached to Army School of Electrical Engineering in Auchi, Edo State, were unable to move against the robbers because they had no orders to do so.
It was reported that the robbers invaded Auchi with different dangerous weapons and blocked all the exit points before launching the attack on the banks.
The banks affected are three new generation banks on Poly Road and a first generation bank at Igbe Road.
A student of Auchi Polytechnic, said, “They (armed robbers) are still shooting every where and the bombs are shaking the houses and roofs. Some roof shaves have been blown off and no body knows what is happening outside for now because everybody ran inside their houses. The entire place is like ghost town now”.
According to General news from clear sources, the said armed robbers were reported to have written a letter informing those in Delta State that they would soon Visit their banks.
