Warri Wolves Dedicate 2-0 Victory over ABS to Late Solomon Oboh

LAGOS JUNE 13TH (URHOBOTODAY) The Delta team have dedicated their win over ABS in Ilorin to the memory of their late defender who passed on last weekend in a road crash
Warri Wolves have dedicated their 2-0 away victory to their late team mate, Solomon Oboh.
The Warri side recorded their first away victory over ABS at the Ilorin Twonship Stadium on Wednesday and instead of celebrating burst into tears for their late colleague, Solomon Oboh who died in a ghastly motor accident on Sunday.

After an enterprising first half, Oghenekaro Etebo scored his eighth goal of the season in the 74th minute and Gift Atulewa silenced the home crowd in the 90th minute with the second goal.
Warri Wolves players who left for the match with heavy hearts after the death of Oboh put in everything and thereafter dedicated the victory to the late defender.
Coach Solomon Ogbeide who went with a game plan to frustrate their opponents’ tip-tap play consoled the players and gave thanks to God for this victory coming after the League Management Company awarded three points to them due to unruly behaviour of Akwa United fans.
“It was a sweet victory for us as we have now started showing the stuff we are made of. We lost a good player in Oboh and the boys played today to remember him.
“We miss him,” Ogbeide said after the game. Warri Wolves have 30 points from 18 matches.
