LAGOS MAY 4TH (URHOBOTODAY0-Governor, Emmanuel Uduaghan has described the late Colonel J. D. Dungs (rtd.) as the architect of modern Delta who worked assiduously to lay a solid foundation for the state.
Uduaghan made the observation in a statement by Felix Ofou, his Press Secretary in which the Governor extolled the sterling qualities of the late former military administrator of Delta State.
According to him, Colonel Dungs tenure was characterised by unparallel zeal, devotion, commitment and love for the people of the state.
“The late Colonel Dungs was a man of valour who worked sleeplessly to improve the state. He was loved by all and Deltans saw him as part of them. We will forever miss his devotion, commitment and love for the people”, he noted.
The Delta State Governor said the former military administrator will be greatly missed and prayed God to grant the deceased family fortitude to bear the loss.
