LAGOS JUNE 21TH(URHOBOTODAY) Delta State police has killed a 61 years old suspected armed alleged to have been terrorizing residents of Oghara community and its environs in Delta State.
Our source revealed that the 61yr old man who happens to be a member of a notorious armed robbery gang was killed this morning in Oghara, Delta State during a gun battle encounter with the police.
An eye witness reported that the gang which had been terrorising the people of Ethiope West local government council lately had a encounter with the police who were responding to distress call from residents of the community.
According to the eye witness< “They had robbed in Ikwemefa in Oghara before they moved to Scort road to continue their operation. It was then that the people alerted the police and they responded in due time to the distress call and that’s how this 61yr old man was killed while others escaped” His remains as at the time of compiling this report had been dumped at the Oghara Police Station, Delta State.
