Controversial Lagos Lawyer, Festus Keyamo, who came into Limelight after the assassination of former Attorney General of the Federation and Minister for Justice, Chief Bola Ige has indicated interest to contest the Governorship of Delta state in 2015.
The lawyer who presently serves as Lead prosecution Counsel to the EFCC and recently facliltated the arraignment of Farouk Lawan and Boniface. Although, he has not declared for any political party.
A cross section of Deltans who reacted to this development referred to Festus Keyamo as a joker.They alleged that he has never contributed to the development of Delta State, has no experience in Governance and that he has always being in the business of running errands for top Government officials at federal level and perverting justice.
He was accused to have been used to silent the Murder of Senator Bola Ige and end the much talk about Hon. Farouk Lawan’s bribe scandal.
It is predicted that he may not see the light of 2015 and end up wasting his resources.
