Delta Central Senatorial Election; Agoda Backs Aguariavbodo, Says He’ll Redeem Urhobo Lost Glory

LAGOS SEPTEMBER 30TH (URHOBOTODAY)-The people of Delta Central Senatorial District have been urged to overwhelming support the candidacy of former Managing Director of the Niger Delta Development Commission and one time member, Federal House of Representatives Olorogun Emmanuel Edesiri Aguariavwodo in his bid to occupy the vacant Delta Central Senatorial position for the interest of moving Urhobo Nation to its rightful place in the politics of Nigeria.

The appeal was made by a three term Federal House of Representatives lawmaker and former Chairman House Committee on Petroleum Hon. John Oghenechuko Agoda at his country home in Jesse on Sunday, when Olorogun Aguariavwodo and his campaign team paid him a visit.
An elated Agoda who also contested in the PDP Delta Central Senatorial primaries along side Aguariavbodo described him as a thorough breed of politician who could use his worth of experience in serving this country at different capacities and dragnet of connections spread across the country to redeem Urhobo lost glory.

Agoda, a one time Chairman of House of Representatives committee on Air force, Legislative Budget and Research and Vice Chairman House Committee on education said the People Democratic Party was right to have picked Aguariavwodo to fly the party’s flag for the October 12 bye-election.
He noted that in the absence of Late Senator Pius Ewherido who in cause of redeeming Urhobo nation lost his life to cold hands of death, hence a candidate who has the needed connections to reposition Urhobo Nation and drag federal government presence to Urhobo Land.

Agoda, a lawyer by training told the gathering comprising of his supporters and leaders of PDP including Delta State Commissioner for works from the eight local government areas that made up Delta Central and her sisters from Warri South to vote massively for the candidacy of Aguariavwodo just as he pledged to give the PDP candidate his unflinching support.
Speaking during the Visit the PDP candidate, Olorogun Emmanuel Aguariavwodo assured the people of Delta Central that his very committed in laying a solid foundation as well as attracting federal government presence to the plight of Urhobo. Aguariavwodo while thanking Hon.Agoda for the honour done him added he shall champion Urhobo into main stream politics in the country.
He enjoined the people of Delta Central to join him in moving the district forward, saying that Urhobo shall no more retrogress in the nation’s politics.
