UPU Youth Leader, Nicholas Omoko Brainstorms With Okowa On Gains Of Urhobos
LAGOS JULY 31ST (URHOBOTODAY)-National President,Urhobo Progress Union, UPU Youthwing worldwide, Comrade Nicholas Omoko on Tuesday led delegation of his group on a congratulatory visit to Delta State Governor, Senator Ifeanyi Okowa at Delta State Government, Asaba, Delta State.
He Urhobo youths leader equally used the opportunity to rob mind with the Governor on issues that will be of benefit to the development of the Urhobo nation and peoples in the next four years his government.
Omoko who briefed journalists shortly after the congratulatory visit to the Governor, disclosed that they were in the State Government House to congratulate the governor after his overwhelming victory in the last election and also to seek for the hitherto partnership with the governor who has been a partner with Urhobo nation on what the Urhobo people stand to benefit from him.
The Urhobo youth leader hinted that after assiduously working to ensure the victory of the governor and as a leader of the Urhobo youths he met the governor to discuss how his second term would benefit his people.
Omoko stated that he and his team have paid the Governor congratulatory visit and equally used the opportunity to urge him to use the peaceful atmosphere in Urhoboland to develop the area.
He expressed optimism that the governor is out for serious business judging from the appointments he had made so far.
While responding, Okowa thanked the Urhobo youths leader for the confidence reposed in him by Deltans to lead the State for the next four years, just as he assured him of all inclusive government.
