PDP Defectors are Killing APC-Onuesoke

LAGOS APRIL 18TH (URHOBOTODAY)-Disturbed by the rate of defectors from Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to All Progressive congress in recent time, Delta State PDP Chieftain, Chief Sunny Onuesoke has raised the alarm saying those defecting to APC are killing the party.
Onuesoke who made the observation while addressing executive members of Association of Register Political Party (ARPP), Delta State chapter who paid him a visit in his office in Warri, Delta State said the defectors are ‘dead wood’ rejected by PDP, who do not have anything to contribute to the development of APC rather than to sink it.
According to him, such decampees do not have anything to contribute to APC, adding that they would rather add to the problem of APC as it is presently observe in Delta state APC.
“These group of people have no positive objective for the party they are defecting to. Their main objective is to seek for political appointment and when none is forth coming, they will create confusion in the party and cause disharmony among the genuine members of the party,” Onuesoke stated.
He said a genuine member of a party is that person who will stick and contribute to the development of the party come rain or shine, adding that those jumping from party to party are members of fair whether politicians looking for appointments as it is presently in APC.
He advised politicians to stay in their various parties and build the party.
“The different parties have their own ideology. I believe it is the ideology that must have attracted people to it. But if you start moving from one party to another it means you have no ideology and not fit to be trusted by any party with genuine ideology,” Onuesoke argued.
Speaking on behalf of the group, Comrade Peter Egbabor thanked Onuesoke for his contribution to the development of humanity, adding that if other politicians tow the line of Onuesoke, the nation will be a better place for all.
He said their main objective is to partner with the ruling government through contribution suggestions and constructive criticism, to support and vote for credible candidate irrespective of political party, adding that foremost in their objective is to return Senator Ifeanyi Okowa as Governor of Delta State in 2019 as a way of promoting peace, justice and fair play in Delta State.
