Atamu Social Club Pays Tribute to Olorogun Felix Ibru

FELIX-IBRU
LAGOS MARCH 15TH (URHOBOTODAY)-The President and members of Atamu Social Club of Nigeria extends their deepest condolence to the family of the late Olorogun Senator Felix Ibru and the entire Urhobo Nation on who died at the age of 80.
We are deeply saddened at the loss of our leader, father and patriot who left an indelible mark in the annals of history both in Delta State and the Nation at large. He was a successful architect, astute businessman, respected politician, community leader and a great philanthropist.
As the first democratically elected Executive Governor of Delta State he was a great statesman and wonderful administrator. He was a man of peace, great integrity and humility who was always interested in the peace and security of Delta State. Suitably named “the talk and do Governor,” Sen. Felix Ibru’s humility and dedication to public service served as an inspiration to millions of Deltans and admirers around the Nation. His word was his bond.
The Urhobo Nation has lost a rare gem. As President of the Urhobo Progress Union he fostered positive change in the leadership of the UPU and used his goodwill to improve the lives and well-being of the Urhobo people. He united the Urhobo Nation and stabilized the UPU.
We pray the good Lord to give the family and indeed the Urhobo Nation the fortitude to bear the loss. We are consoled in the hope that his legacies live on and he is resting in Peace.
Adieu Olorogon Senator Felix Ibru
Signed:

Johnson Agagbo Benson Uwheru
President
