LAGOS JANUARY 28TH (URHOBOTODAY)-There is jubilation and praises to Good by the people of Delta State as Obaise Ovie Omo-Agege was admitted into the Senator as a Senator of the Federal Republic of Nogeria representing Delta Central Senatorial District of Delta State.
His admission into the Senate had rubbished rumour making the rounds about about court injunction from his opponent preventing him from not been sworn in.
The jubilating sparked off when Ovie Omo-Agege officially declared in his facebook page that, He , today took his seat in the Senate of the Federal Republic of Nigeria as the distinguished Senator representing Delta Central Senatorial District of Delta State.
“Today, I formally took my seat in the Senate of the Federal Republic of Nigeria as the Distinguished Senator representing Delta Central Senatorial District of Delta State. My Oath of Office was administered at exactly 11.17 a.m. To God be the Glory!” Omo-Agege declared in his facebook page.
Reacting to the admission of Omo-Agege into the Senate, Ugbarugba Solomon described his admission as the day they have been waiting for with great expectation, just as he prayed to Almighty God to grant him the divine’ ennoblement ‘ to be a senator with a difference.
Gogoh G E Oghene-ochukome on behalf of the Labour Party volunteers in USLGA in Ekakpamre ward 7, send congratulatory message to Omo-Agege , while Batuade Tamarakro said big thank you to God for seeing him through all d vamporious intimidatns.
Akpede Austin said those parading court injunction for stay of Execution had been silenced beyond words .
Odafe Ibeyon congratulated Omo-Agege saying “Congratulation our leader, the ever good Lord will guide you, protect you, preserve you and provide you wisdom to lead your people in Jesus name.”
