LAGOS JANUARY 27TH (URHOBOTDAY)-His Royal Majesty (H.R.M), Rotn. Noble Oyibo Eshemitan, Ovie Of Oghara Kingdom commends Rotary Club contribution towards the development of humanity by creating a better society were all individuals irrespective of age, marital or health status, financial background, sex and educational qualification can have a better life.
He said this is achieved through the execution of projects and training of personalities to become good
citizens in any nation of the world.
He was of the opinion that Rotary projects are aimed at making life better for all individuals of the
society because they are located at were people have the need for them and not for political or regious reasons. He said that though the help of Rotary Clubs and Rotarians all over the world, quality leaders and good followers have been produce.
The Royal Father who is the District Governor of Rotary District 9140 stated this during his visit to Rotary Club of Ughelli Metropolis on Monday January 26th, 2015. He also used the opportunity to encourage all those that are yet to join the Rotary Family to do so for the best interest of themselves and the society.
He stated that,Rotary open doors of opportunity to all its member. He noted that serving others though Rotary, brings about joy, fulfillment, peace and blessings from God almighty. He therefore, recommended the club to all individuals.
The President of Rotary Club of Ughelli Metropolis, Rotn. Grace Akpodiate thanked the District Governor for finding time from his ever busy schedules as DG and Royal Father to Visit the Rotary of Ughelli Metropolis. She also used the opportunity to thank all members of the club for their steadfastness and dedication to the selfless service of Humanity. He called all individuals to come and join Rotary in other to serve well their nation. She said that the benefits of being in the Rotary family are too great to be missed by any individual.
In the same vain, the President Elect of Rotary Club of Ughelli Metropolis, Rotn. Wilfred Ovuorayevbie said that the visit of the District Governor who happens to be the first Royal Father to be made a District Governor in the World will no doubt, go a long way in strengethen the club. He said that Rotary create better citizens that are always ready to serve their society with the little that they can afford. He stated that Rotary has saved a lot of lives through the various projects that are executed by various Rotary Clubs all over the World. He therefore called on all those with the zeal to serve
humanity to join the Rotary Family.
Chief (Rotn.) Miller Uloho in whose resident in Ughelli the ceremony was held, thanked all Rotarians all over the world for their help so far towards the creation of a better society were all individuals will
be happy. He however, advised all Rotary Club of Ughelli Metropolis Members to remain committed in other to achieve more goals. He thanked the DG for coming and promised him that the club will continue to do more projects that are aim at building creating the society that we
are all praying for.
