LAGOS OCTOBER 6TH (URHOBOTODAY)-Commissioner representing Delta State Oil Producing Area Development Commission (DESOPADEC) in Ndokwa Nation, Sir Kenny Okolugbo has commended Delta State Governor, Dr Emmanuel Uduaghan peace initiative in Delta State in general and Ndowa nation in particular.

Describing how Uduaghan’s peace initiative has resulted in security, human capital and infrastructural development while presenting a fourteen seater Hiace bus to Ndokwa-West Host Communities of Oil and Gas (HOSTCOM), Okolugbo pointed out that those in Ndokwa West LGA are benefitting from the three point agenda of the governor today because of the peace initiative of his administrative which is the leading factor in the administration three point agenda.
“When our amiable governor, Dr Emmanuel Uduaghan introduced three agenda which are peace, security, human capital and infrastructural development, he was very wise with the three points agenda because without peace there cannot be security, human capital and infrastructural development. Whatever you are enjoying today is as a result of peace created as part of the three point agenda of the Governor,” Okolugbo who had lined up no fewer than sixty projects in 2013 budget with several of them already completed and others at completion stage explained.

He expressed gratitude to Emmanuel Uduaghan who provided the serene environment and fund for which he was able to achieve most of the projects he had executed in his constituency especially the provision of HOSTCOM buses.
Hear him, “The most important thing is that we must thank our amiable governor, Dr Emmanuel Uduaghan who provided the fund for us to achieve all this things because when I came into the board of DESOPADEC, the only thing I saw in the budget was one bus for HOSTCOM in Ndokwa Nation. But because of the conducive environment the Governor created for us, we were able to use our wisdom to form community development fund of which we were able to buy three other buses for HOSTCOM in Ndokwa-West, Ndokwa- East and Ukwuani.”

Speaking on the same vein, The state HOSTCOM Chairman, Mr Peter Egedegbe thanked Dr Emmanuel Uduaghan for his kind gesture and also commended Sir Kenny Okolugbo’s effort for meeting the desire of the people in his constituency, adding that the bus will solve their transportation problems.
“This bus will solve our movement problems. Many a time when we go to Abuja, Asaba and other places we charter vehicles. So we need the bus to move around. Like you said only one bus was provided. But you gave us the challenge and we were able to purchase more buses. I commend your effort in doing that. I thank you very much for bracing up the challenge,” he affirmed.
After the presentation of the bus, Okolugbo and his entourage went on an inspection tour of some on-going projects at Ogume and Obiaruku. They are three blocks of classroom at Ogume Model secondary School with two of the classroom blocks completed to advance stage, reconstruction of two classroom blocks at Ezedogume Primary School which are almost completed, construction of Ogume Main Market and construction of cottage hospital at Ogume.
Others are reconstruction of two classroom blocks at Emeni Primary School, Obiaruku, construction of two classroom blocks at Moka Primary School, Obiaruku and construction of 1.5 Kilometers of Umuebu road network among others.
