LAGOS FEBRUARY 6TH (URHOBOTODAY)-There was palpable tension in Yenagoa, the Bayelsa state capital Wednesday as words went round that eleven members of the State House of Assembly may have defected to the All Progressives Party (APC). This is coming as the APC Wednesday inaugurated the Bayelsa state executive of the party.
A chieftain of the opposition party who spoke on condition of anonymity said the lawmakers were secretly negotiating with the party , adding that these legislators would also be involved in the membership registration exercise .
